Welcome to Kuwali
Kuwali was born during a period of reflection in my career, when I stepped back and asked a simple question: what kind of work do I find most meaningful?
The answer wasn't a particular industry or job title. It was helping people discover new possibilities, broaden their perspective and make confident decisions — whether through travel, education or organisational development.
Throughout my career I've worked across travel, education, commercial strategy and international programmes. While the settings were different, the common thread was always the same: bringing people, ideas and opportunities together to create experiences and outcomes that matter.
Today, Kuwali brings those passions together through three complementary services.
About Kuwali……
The name Kuwali comes from the humble cooking pot — known as a kuali or kawah across Southeast Asia, and found in different forms in every culture. Wherever you go, there’s always a vessel where ingredients are brought together, transformed, and shared.
The idea took root while I was volunteering in the rainforests of Kalimantan, Indonesia. Each day, a remarkable group of women cooked for us. With limited supplies, they created meals that were nourishing, inventive, and full of heart. Watching them, I realised it wasn’t just about what went into the pot — it was about the creativity, care, and collaboration that turned simple things into something more.
That’s the spirit behind Kuwali. Whether we’re building partnerships, shaping ideas, or finding new ways of working, the aim is the same — to bring people and possibilities together to create meaningful impact.
